Healthy Recipe for Tomatoes with Basil



Ingredients (makes one serving)

2 tomatoes
10 leafs fresh basil
1 peeled garlic
1 serving extra virgin olive oil
1 serving balsamic vinegar
freshly ground black pepper


Directions

Slice tomatoes and garlic into 10 medallions. Place the tomato pieces flat on a plate and add 1 sliver garlic on top of each tomato. Drizzle the olive oil and vinegar evenly on each piece. Add pepper and 1 leaf of basil per tomato medallion. A glass of red wine will wash this down amazingly.
